I picked up a new Okuma V system "V200LXa" the other day. I picked it up for a good price just under $70. I think it is comparable to the old 200 Curado reels with the centrifugal brake system. I hope to get out on the water more and then I'll be able to give a better review. I have it mounted on an Airrus Puls-R and my intention is to throw spinnerbaits with it.

I have the v200a and it works great, had no issues with it after I got the brake set right.

as soon as shimano started changing models and discontinuing parts, i shifted to okuma for baitcasting, spinning and offshore. not quite as stylish on all models, but they are holding up very well and am very pleased with price points....but my curado bcasters are still hangin on. miss the academy curado/rod combo for 100.00 and something from years ago.
