I am looking for any recommendations on a knowledgeable guide that will take me and two other guys out for a half day trip. We are all experienced fisherman but new to striper fishing and lake buchanan. We would obviously like to catch some fish but we would also like to have a guide that doesn't mind giving us an education and will answer plenty of questions.

Fermin Fernandez is an awesome guide to go with.I have used him and a few of my buddies have used him and he has always put us on big fish.

I saw the post and thought about Fermin. We went with him last year and caught enough fish to run out of bait before 10am. We were 1 fish short of a limit of stripers but we had a few bonus whites and channels. We caught a ton of fish. A lot were undersized but it was still a lot of fun. Fermin knows his stuff. he has a very nice boat and works hard to put you on the fish.

I went with another guide 2 weeks later and we only caught 7 fish.

I will only fish with Fermin from now on there are Buchanan.
