Nope ... I just have a LOT of Texas clients...most come to fish for the big snook and tarpon in the summer/fall months ... many are in and around the Houston Area and like the kayak/wade approach.

When I was in Houston to speak earlier this month, I mentioned our quarterly drawing and was asked to make it better known in their area. I received a reminder email today about this forum.

Fear not, I do not post here very much. Most of what I can talk about is different that what most here seem to enjoy.

I fish a lot for trout, but mostly in the wintertime with the Northern snowbird anglers who need to "catch a lot" ... (unless of course, a fish-fry is planned like this weekend's camping trip!!).

When fly fishing, tarpon or snook are our primary targets. If they are not feeding, then we will throw the long wands at reds... they will eat a fly pretty readily.

I am still looking for the Texas snook fishermen out there. I will be in Houston for the Holder Show and will be staying a couple of extra days to fish ... preferrably your snook (on fly ... they will probably be too deep to get to ... I would think). Anybody up to swapping trips?

Okay, sounds fair. You might also try posting up in the Trading section. Good Luck.
