me and my son hit em about 8:00 this morn was a litle chil in the air , heck it was down right cold!! was all fired up to play with my new ipilot some more but had a feeling that one of the batt's went south on me,and was right so iam runnig tm on half power, so staying on fish even with the light wind was a pain. we had the south end to our slefs. did the bird dance cought lots of fish, no count we tossed all fish back to make us some babys. i have seen big flock of birds before but this morn as we were doing our bird dance it seemed every direction i looked there was a flock of birds geting down you realy had you pick. we had our fun and the chill and the tm probs had me ready to. we stop at one more bird party just before the ramp and as i go to cast,my rod just snaps in half!! TIME TO GO!!! all fish were on ole uglys white and relective, most were cought on tossing a lure like a little george. bob told me the name johnny but i forgot , white, red nose ,sparkles but it came from johnny it was the trick this morn. we could have filled a box with a few limits and olot less dinks allso.

I saw a few of your guys out near all the birds. I agree that was the biggest flock of birds I have ever seen as well. We thought about cecking out the birds, but the boat ride over there wasnt going to be fun for the wife in the cool mist so we just stayed where we were....wasnt like there was a shortage of fish we were anyway.

We didn't have birds, but we a saw TONS of fish hugging the bottom in 17' of water, and caught all we wanted. We fished for about 2 hours, and finally it was just too cold to keep the bride out any longer so we headed to the house.

That is good to hear. I was wondering what Sun. would be like. I thought about it after helping my brother move. But after spending all day Sat. fighting that wind and moving the bro I needed a break and decided to spend some time in the nice warmth of the house.

As far as fishing under the birds. When I do that I keep the Ole ugly slam and flies tied on. They work great that way, plus you can cast a mile.
