Anybody know anything about this boat built here in Louisiana. There website has some nice boats. Not really what I would consider to be a kayak, but for me in would might be more practical. Know about a guy that had a 14ft, 1994 model, wanted around a grand for it? There built a couple of hours north of me. Need to go look.

been to the website before, just haven't gotten to touch one. I figure I'm to old to try and keep a kayak upright. So I thought this may be a really good alternative. The guy wanted 1000.00 for 94 14ft model, livewell, bilge, etc. Most of the small water that I want to fish during summer will have a lot of grass, so trying to with a paddle or t motor, wanna figure which direction. Appreciate the help

mikryl, have you considered a canoe?
The Moccasin boat is a bit pricey, and doesn't look like it would handle very well being paddled, even the smaller version, and by that I mean tracking, and also you are limited in the room versus a canoe of about the same size and weight.
Of course you won't really know all this unless you see and test one yourself.
Just one more cast!

For a light personal motorcraft they are well built and thought out. There are two that have fished in my favorite haunt for 10 years or more.
I really do like them, but a small narrow Jon boat will get the same job done at much lower price. A early 70's Skeeter bass boat is quite similar.

I have had mine (12 Footer) for 28 years now. Paid $300.00 for it back in 1983. Great boat for small waters. Trolling motor on bow makes it easy to get around. I have had it on large lakes, just have to be very careful in windy conditions.

You know, I've thought about a canoe, but not for long. I'm not that graceful in anything but a bass boat. Want something I can handle by myself. Tie it the back of the truck and go. And your right, prob not a good to plan on paddling. Good, I don't wanna paddle. I like the idea of that troll motor up front, and I do believe that the 12' model is more ideal than the bigger boat. BUT, it was 14ft,with live well and bilge $1000. But, I don't know if it would be one that I can handle, really bad back,. WD55, do you trailer or truck? And are they as stable as they look? I need to take a ride, Harley, up to Stonewall and look. I appreciate all yall's help.

Cool looking little boat! They remind me of a miniature version of the original Skeeter Bass boats you used to see all over Toledo Bend back in the late 60's and 70's.

A year or 2 ago I saw one of those skeeters on the side of the rode. To big of hurry to stop at that time, anyway went back a couple of days later it was gone. if I recall that boat was the first fiberglass or at least one of the first boats built. I was so use to draggin boats in and out of the back of a truck, I knew that one day I was going to have one. I did, and then another and another and another.........................

mikryl, I use to truck, but now i trailer. A lot easier on the back. They are fairly stable. You have to be careful when you are standing up in it and your fishing partner rocks the boat. I really do like mine. It goes places no other boat will go.
