Congrats to Bobby Holland and Randy Pendergrass for winning this years Championship. They beat out the 9 other teams that had qualified for the Championship. Bobby and Randy also took home Angler of the Year honors. This is the second year in a row they took home this award.
Thank you all who came out and fished this year and we are looking forward to a better time next year. The tournaments start back up on March 15th 2012. Hope to see everyone out on the water.

A friend of mine was out there a couple of weeks ago and even though the lake was low, he said the fishing was good.

It was about 4.5` low the first Saturday of this month. I haven`t been back since, so I don`t know what it is now. If anyone is going the north ramp will be your best bet. My boat was dragging the bottom as I was pulling up to put it on the trailer. I think there was only one team that had a five fish limit. Fishing has been pretty good, but it is on and off with the recent cold fronts.

Ok, there was a change to our Thursday nighters. It's now $30 per boat regardless if there is one or two people fishing.
We have been seeing several new teams show up and the fishing has been alot better this year!

Our Thursday night championship will be on Lake Bonham Sept. 15th and 16th. And we will be launching from the NORTH BOAT RAMP.
