I can't believe that haven't hit any of the grasslands lakes! They're in your backyard and have been producing, even during these hot summer months. We're catching them night fishing, but it's almost cold out there at 4am when it drops down to 72-74.

I read a post earlier you made about family and committments, so I understand the whys and why-nots.

I'll have to hit Meridian soon. I bet it looked great! I'll definitely be out there camping once the overnight lows drop into the 60's.

I have a customer working on a job and I'll be delivering parts to him tomorrow about a mile north of Clear Lake(just north of the cemetery). He needs them in the AM, so after the delivery, if I don't get suckered into lunch(they think I have a bottomless expense account), I'll drive by the lake and "dream a little dream".
Yeah, I know. I have my priorities all wrong. Maybe, I can catch you down at Meridian during the bow season again this year.

That's the time I'll be down there. That's a great little lake. I've got the tube(s) and also a bassbuster so I'll be able to cover more of the lake and get a better feel for it.

I hope you at least get to wet a line at lunch. Maybe you'll have to tell the boss you've got a fever and leave after lunch....yeah, bass fever!
