Denton County Bass Club,
The club meets the first Monday of every month at BassPro Shops in Grapevine at 7:00 PM.

The Denton County Bass Club is organized as a not-for-profit club. With more than 30 members, DCBC has been and continues to be involved with youth, community, and conservation issues. Examples of this include holding - Kid Fishing - events to help involve children in fishing. DCBC also removed - Water Hyacinth" from Lake Quitman so the spraying of herbicides could be avoided, we are currently involved in the "Habitat Restitution" project with Texas Parks and Wildlife in the Hickory Creek area of Lake Lewisville.

In addition to community support we fish 10 tournaments each year. Club tournaments are individual format; monthly tournament entry fee is $50.00.

Following all BASS and Federation policies, DCBC is a member of both organizations in - Good Standing. - Members of the Club enjoy camaraderie and sharing fishing stories and techniques.

As a "Northeast Federation Club" members also fish the federation regional tournaments.

Please note the official start time and weigh-in time may be delayed due to weather conditions. Announcements of start time and weigh-in times will be decided and communicated on the morning of and before the start of the tournament.


* Deadline for club member tournament registration is 15 minutes prior to the start of the tournament. Late entries will be accepted but members must sign the roster at the launch ramp prior to fishing, and pay their entry fee prior to start of weigh-in. (Indicate on roster, $45 or $50). Late Entries must enter the registration in the rear window of my truck. Tournament start time will be �safe light�. �Trailering� is permitted, provided contestants depart from designated launch site no earlier than official start time.
* Late arrivals must call and leave a message due to the safety of the contestants.

I�ll be conducting live well checks on the ramp.

� On the water: 6:45am
� Take-off: safe light (7:08 am)
� Weigh-in will be at Boat Ramp.
� Call out boat will be calling numbers to get folks in line and not to take off
� If you�re not in line by the time you reach the call out boat, don�t pass anyone to get in line. Find a spot and go from there.
� Find out who is immediately ahead of you and find that person
� Weigh-in is 3:00
