Where are all the tubers? We only had about nine people show up Saturday. I know there are more than that out there. I dont want to hear about the drive is too long. I live on the very east side of Dallas so driving for every tourney is a long ways. I will carpool with someone and split the cost of gas if anyone needs a ride.

Yeah, where were you guys!? Turn-out for this one was about 1/2 of the previous 2.

Was it the $5 entry fee increase? Or, the 2pm weigh-in instead of 1pm? I'm very curious also.

Unfortunatly I have only made the first one. It is always a last minute call for me as my wife works as caterer and usually works weekends. Until I find a way to strap my 5 and 8 year old to my tube that leaves me to realisticly only making it to one tournament every other month.

If I can't fish the ones that are close to me maybe I can bring the kids along and give to my time to help with weigh ins or something.

Hey, guys! Sorry I missed this one! I'm sure I could have loaded up on under-sized fish, too. Congrats to Randy (again!).

Unfortunately, I had to work. My school district missed two days this winter due to the weather, and Saturday was a make-up day.

I wouldn't worry too much about the turnout. I think things will be like this for awhile--up one week, down the next. The important thing is that we keep adding a new person or two each time. That will keep us growing in the long run. Once a person experiences a tourney or two, they'll be hooked (pardon the pun). I know I am!

I am through with work in three weeks and will not be back until late July. That gives me about 6 weeks to do some serious fishing! I'll be sure to post messages when I'm going out, and maybe some of you can join me.
