Used to enjoy good success here from the bank at the state park. Anybody know how it might be this time of year?

cant help you on that . but i went there about 22 years ago camping and vaguely remember , but what i do remember it was beeeeautiful country down there . good luck ,jesse

I've had decent success catching catfish from either of the the 2 piers. But I've also caught catfish and decent bass from a canoe in the cove from the boat ramp to Devils Waterhole. I seem to do better in the cooler months when there is not quite as many jetski and swimmers.
