I don't know about noise but there is an executive stay apartment complex near me that has 3 small fishing ponds containing 3 or 4 bass each. The water is very clear and its fun to sight fish there. I have noticed that when I hook a fish and begin cranking him in that the fish's thrashing in the water draws in the other bass in the pond that will often form up around the hooked bass and watch. They don't seem to be spooked at all by there fellow green friends misfortune!!

I've seen the same thing as "Deus Misereatur". Mostly on schooling size fish. Of course, schooling size can be HUGE on Fork or Rayburn. On some larger fish, I've seen them scatter like mad. If fished in florida for 4 years. Some of that water is scary clear. I think there some difference between florida and native strains as well.

Agressive fish will activate other fish. Might just do it.
