The Texas Junior Anglers program will be holding its annual youth fishing tournament at the Colleyville Nature Center Sunday November 9th 1-4pm. We will stock 1000 lbs. of adult channel/blue cat in the two ponds. Lots of prizes and lots of big fish. Our last event winner was a 28" blue cat. My son and I missed the event and were going to head over there this afternoon. The park information says there are 9 ponds.
Anyone know which one was stocked?

JD, pull in the second park entrance as you drive north. The pond is behind the playground. A large canopy covers the west end of the pond, with a dock also.

Thanks, we hit it about 4pm and not a single bite! The other 2 old timers there left shortly after we arrived so we gave up on that spot and tried the last spot at Bob Jones Park....no one there caught a thing either! Guess it was due to the cold front coming in...maybe next time.
