I bet the soapbait would stay on a regular hook better that punchbait. I dont use treble hooks on my jugs.
Catfish or go home!

Catfish sure like fresh dead shad too. Last night's catch in 2.5 hours =15 fish gave up because i had no more room to store fish.  Biggest one was 21, next was 18 and the rest were from keepin size to 7

Seems like the shad didn't stay on the hook as long as the soap would have.
