 Large catfish at Cedar Creek

My friend Bobby and I went to Cedar Creek this past saturday, going mainly for Hybrids and sandies. We started slabbing with white slabs. He thought he got hung up, but then it started moving. After about a 10-15min battle, we were able to land a 30-lb flatnose catfish. The thing was huge! I could hardly get it into the boat. Quite an unexpected, but fun thing to happen

Hi CC. If you can, post the pictures of the cat! I agree, it was quite a large fish, and most of these guys would like to see it! Did you guys get it bled and cut up? Flatheads are pretty good eating, so I hope you were able to make the most of it!

Hi Rudy, Well I havent developed my pictures yet. THis guy at the marina had a digital camera and took some shots but he hasnt emailed me the pics yet  Yeah we got it all bled and cut up. It filled 2 large 1-gal size ziplocks, plus a little extra. -Christian ------------------ A good rule to live by is to "Never Let Work Interfere with Fishing!"  -Christian
