We did. I had just started baiting out my trotlines when the lightning started on Cooper Lake. We didn't have time to get back to the boat ramp so I pulled the boat up in a creek off the lake and on to shore. Held up there for 2 hours with lightning, golf ball size hail and straight line winds. It finally quite around 9:30pm. Dipped the water out of the boat. Pushed the boat back into the water after the wind blew it on shore. Dodged fallen trees all the way back to the ramp. I kissed the concrete when we got back.

Longtine, We were in a tent at Fisherman's Point on the South shore of Richland Chambers when that front blew through at 2am. Fiberglass tent poles inverted and wind practically flattened the tent. Waves blowing into shore were good size rollers - looked like Galveston shoreline sandbars. Lightning was spectacular but very scary on a hilltop where we were. We got in the truck to wait it out until we heard flashflood reports all the way into Oklahoma so we loaded everything up and headed to the house at 3:30am. Glad we did.
