I want to take my 9 year old granddaughter this weekend for a couple hours. Is there a crappie house at Eagle Mountain or Grapevine? Maybe a fishing pier or just a good bank spot? Thanks

Check the crappie forum and see if they still have the barge at EM. I know Lewisville does.

my suggestion would be to make the extra drive and take her to the marina at navarro mills. they have a great fishing dock at the marina and several open piers at crappie point. this little lake is full of crappie and catfish, she would most likely catch plenty!
