Went to lake Belton yesterday afternoon to try my luck with some hellpet combos. Rigged up just as the picture showed. It took just a little tweaking, but they were all tracking nicely behind the boat. We trolled for about an hour with no luck, but weren't really seeing fish on the graph either. Came up on two schools of whites and so we raised the hellpet's and ended up catching 23 (whites). No luck with the hybrids.

Has anyone else fished Belton lately with any luck? We were around Temple Lake Park on the flats, and straight across on the bank by the waterfall.

Bryant,

Went to Belton Saturday evening (no doves flying on my hunting spots) and caught a few whites and largemouth. We caught a few whites by Temple park, but none schooling. We caught the majority of the whites and the largemouth trolling the Hell-pet combo up around the Girl Scout Camp. Tried the main part of the lake for hybrids, but no luck. Have not caught any hybrids in our last three trips. In May and June we were catching them every trip.

Good Luck,

Cary
