While we spent most of the day trying to master the art of winter jig fishing for crappie (w/o success) we did manage to throw a few slabs for sandies but also came up empty handed. Fished some of the ledges on the East side of Wolf island near the mouth of Indian Creek and the drops between 20' - 40' on the west side of the island between Jordan Park and Johnson Park and got skunked there as well. Saw lots of "arches" and baitfish on the graph but couldn't entice anything to bite. Maybe if we'd just had some Fizz...........?
