does anyone fish this lake? if so, i may be making a trip out this weekend with a friend and it will be our first time on the lake. can anyone give us some type of info on where to fish? ive been to the dam, but never on the main lake. what is a good launching place. i am driving from houston. will be lookin to catch whatever really. catfish, crappie or whites would be a first choice.

hah, oh well, i will be goin tomorrow to fish it, and we will be goin to KICKAPOO MARINA, so thats my secret, its my first trip to the main lake

try white rock creek by hwy. 94. either troll chrome or white rattletrapp's or use live minnows. lots of whites and crappie right now. watch out for kickapoo- lots of stumps! good luck.

I just read your post. Don't have much experience on Livingston this time of year but in the summer months, we do really well trolling at the old 190 roadbved (you can find it on a map 7 your depthfiner) and Pine Island. Let me know how you do.

well, i did go out there on sat, but the starter in my boat messed up on me so never made it into the water. (see http://www.texasfishingforum.com/.ubb/Forum23/HTML/000651.html ) not fun
