A cool brisk North wind didn't stop the sandbass from biting this morning. Fishing with Wayne Kilo, we limited with 50 quality sandbass to 15 inches and a lot of throwbacks under 12 inches. We put in at Oak Cove Marina at 7AM and by 9:10AM we were headed back to the boat ramp. Fish were caught under working birds on the shallow running shad color Model A, Chartreuse tailhummer and a few on Hopkins Spoon in 18 to 24 feet of water.
