Thanks everybody.
The sandies do school again in the evenings. Look around Cates Point, the mouth of Johnson and just North of the Marina. Sometimes even around Culp Is at the dam.

I was on the water Sat from 5:30 am till noon and hit every point, hump, old foundation that we could find and not even a dink. Finally gave up and hit the sandbass which where around Cates Pt and Culp Is. This lake is really frustrating...

We also hit it from 530am to noon on Saturday-main lake points with rock, shallow ridges, deep tree lines, grass early, boat slips, you name it and NADA. Sandies were schooling around us all day but we only wanted to focus on the black bass. Fished big worms t-rigged blue fleck and red shad from shallow out to 20+. Slow day for us.
