I ran across some small surface schools of sandbass earlier this week. They would stay up for a few seconds and then go down. Mostly small fish and not very aggressive. I will try it again Saturday morning. Anyone else fished Brownwood recently?

I haven't but keep us posted. My mom lives there and when we visit I take her boat out. The last action I saw last year was in front of Buzzard Bay.
If you find them schooling much, please let us know. I'd love to get some fishing in here in a few weeks while I'm there.

Sounds like they're fixing to turn on. Last July was pretty active on B'wood.

Ive seen people pulling limits out at night fishing the docks. I don't have a boat so I'm bank fishing and not having a lot of luck :-/
