Hey guys, My family and I are staying on Lake Desoto (in Hot Springs Village) in August for a week and was wondering if anyone has fished it? If so, how'd it go?

Are you at the time share (Los Lagos) or at a house? I never have done real good fishing there. You can catch bream and a few cats with a bass here and there. You are about 10-20 miles from Lake Ouichita (which is a beautiful lake) I would highly recommend a visit if you bring your boat with you.

Thanks for the comments. Any particular ramp or location I should look for on Ouichita? I have heard it is one of the best striper lakes, but HUGE. Don't really know where I would start on a lake that big. I will have my boat with me.

Never fished it but I were I would look into hiring a guide. There is a lot of water to cover as it's a big deep lake.
