It would appear Lake Whitney and surrounding waters are experiencing a major fish kill. My question is, what total percentage of each species population do you think is dying? Also, how long do you think it will take to recover? Thanks...

Did this lake just become a Jet Ski lovers best hang out??

I HOPE THE JET SKIS STAY AWAY, BUT FISH ARE STILL BEING CAUGHT AND I WILL BE THERE ON SATURDAY. GOT TO GO CATCH AS MANY AS I CAN BEFORE OR IF IT DOES HAVE MORE OF A KILL. COULD BE A LONG TIME TO RECOVER, BUT FISH ARE BITING AND THAT IS A GOOD THING.

Give me some idea of where you are finding fish ,and what species,on granbury. Have fished from above tintop to the dam during the past two weeks and caught one(1) TEN INCH SANDIES AT TINTOP. The pelicans are gone with empty bellies ans what few gulls that are around are not getting much exercise and are feeding on the bread thrown out for the ducks. No sign of shad at warm water outlet(shut down last thursday,410/03.. Only good thing about the algea kill is I'm not burning a lot of expensive gas.
