My dad is getting a used one for me! Any of you have experience with this? Mad River says that it is drier than most SOTs. I has way more storage than my Charger. The person selling it to us also has a anchor trolley and a fish finder attached. I think it is gonna be awesome! Yall's thoughts?

I have been paddling one for about a year now.
It's a very dry ride because there are no scupper holes.

I paddle Lake Grapevine without any problems. It'll have to be very choppy before I get any water from the sides. No big deal. I'll just keep water in the wells and throw my sandbass there.

I've played with it in the pool trying to figure out how much water I can take before I can't paddle it anymore. You have to take several inches of water.

I've also practiced wet reentries and no issues there either.

It's a great kayak.

The only thing I don't like about it is the weight. It's heavy when you try to lift it over a Honda Pilot.

My first choice would have been a Redfish 12.
