Opted not to LL today. Instead we did our 1st Yak fishing trip on Tawak. Hit Holiday Marina around 6:AM w/ SeaDawg & Captain Paul. I believe we saw Matt's & Joe Read's Guide Service hard at it as we headed out. Not knowing much about this area we got some quick info from the cashier at the store & followed some other friendly anglers out deep to the humps infront of Holiday. Saw a few being picked up here n there on live bait & such. Not really having any luck ourselves we decided it would be best to split up to cover more water & stay in touch w/the cellphones. After some time trolling lipless crankbaits & Sassys around w/ nada we regrouped. On our way to the intake we noticed some heavy surface action starting up in shallower waters. Not positive but I want to say they surfaced in the area between Holiday point & the intake around 8:30. Although there were plenty of boats in the area, most payed little to no attention to us newbees. We proceeded to toss Chart Sassy Shad, Silver Glitter Flukes, Tiny Torpedos & Big Chart Slabs & comenced to haulem in! The Hybies & Stripers didn't disapoint and some of the sandies pulled like mad too! Don't know how we managed to stay so cool for so long w/ all the action we got into. Undetected for about an hour 2 other boats finally noticed what was up. They slowly & curdiously eased into the action. As the sun rose higher the action slowed. Many of the other angler drove right over the surfacing schools on there way out of our area. All our big fish 2day came on the Chart Sassy's, Flukes & Torpedos. Didn't get a exact count on everything between us but I know we landed 3 over Stripers, around 10 over Hybies, & lots of nice magnum Sandies in between. We quick released a half dozen or so at the side & turned a good # of under Hybies & Whites back as well. We didn't limit out but got some really qaulity sized Stripers, Sandies & Hybies over 20. Was a blast out of the kayaks & can't wait to go another round! Don't know how Matt's or Joe Read's did 2day but we saw some guides at the tables doing their thing before noon. Somehow i managed to dropped the new phone & camera in the kayak. Zapped em good

had just bought the camera earlier this week. Look for an older olympus stylus tough model. Waterproof and shock proof. Just remember to read the directions if you are going to be shooting underwater.

You'll like it. It's the same camera YaknYota uses. If you use it underwater, be sure to rinse it in clean water afterwards and turn it on and off. It gives detailed instructions in the user manual.
The convenience of not having to keep the camera in a dry place is worth the price.
