What is the best hook to cut down on the swallowing issue? Kids love using the bobber and worms and hate seeing the bleeders.

even size 6 circle hooks cut down on the bleeders. Was directed to Cabelas for mine.
now use size 2 circle hooks crappie fishing and haven't had one swallow it yet.

Eagle Claw makes a very long shank cricket hook 215A.
I've never had a gill swallow one.

Mashing down the barb on the hook also cuts down on the damage...
