right off the trailor ,it runs great, after you get to where your going and shut it down, when you get ready to leave it acts like it is loaded up in carbs, but not the case, like its flooded and doesnt want to stay running.i can put the hose on it at home and runs fine each time i start and stop. any ideals thx .

When you run the motor at home on the trailer is the motor trimed all the way down just like you would have it in the water? When you try to restart the motor and it is warm, some motors will flood if you hit the choke again while trying to start a warm motor. Also while running the motor at home on a hose you have no back pressure and it will run differently out of water than it does in the water.

Fuel inlet needles are leaking or your fuel enrichment valve is leaking.

check every fuel connection, my 175 johnson did something similar and it was the connector at the engine, just barely loose but caused an air leak that made it hard to keep running till up and gone.
