Are the sandies schooling on top? If so, at what time of day? It's been a long time since I have fished Whitney. Any guides out there lurking and available tomorrow or Monday?

I fished some shallow water near on the northwest side of the FM 1713 bridge. My son caught two fish; I caught zero. I was planning to go down near the damn and the islands but decided to fish some old spots that had produced years ago. And that's my report; anyone have any current Whitney pointers they could share? I'm looking for sand-bass (yes I know there's a black-bass tournament on the lake this weekend). Thanks, oFishalBusiness

I'll be going down there in the morning - almost time for Downrigging.
