Hit the water at 7am and left a few minutes ago. Caught 5 keepers and about 10 dinks. Headed to the deer lease now to fill feeders.

Anybody still on the water be safe and good luck. We left before the we todds showed up.

121 Bridge and Little Elm bridge were hot today! 243 crappie caught. rolfmao Really we caught about 30 and kept 14 over 11". I caught one nice nearly 14" fish. Got a real late start and got there at about 8am. We were off the water by 11am as planned. We left in the nick of time. It was getting nuts out there. Charteuse and white Rocky Tops seemed to be the ticket. We tried some timber but only caught dinks and one Huge Drum. Headed to my brother's at Lake Graham for the night. Get after it "We Todds".

Yep Tim it ain't no fashion statement when you get your clothes at the tent and awning shop. Fat folks go comfortable. Darrell at LL the fish wake up early and feed and then hide from the jet fleas and "We Todds". That hat is ugly, (and yes I got two of them) but it sure shades my ears and neck good. I don't want no hunks took out of my ears or nose from skin cancer. Lots of sunscreen too. If I had my way I wouldn't wear no hat but it sure is cooler under it. It's also a lucky hat. That friggin drum was fun to catch. That Shimano drag and Fireline with a Seaguar InvisX fluorocarbon leader worked great. I guess I'm sold on the Triple Surgeon's Knot now for sure. thumb

Today was pretty good for me too. My grandpa and I caught about 40 with 19 keepers and 2 sandies. All came from Stretch's brush, the bridge, and vertical structure. It was a nice day. I even caught some fish off of some brush I put out last Saturday. Water was 86 degrees.

Thanks buddy. It was pretty cool to say the least. I won't be able to fish LL for a while. Heading to CC all next weekend for my graduation present.
