I fished texoma with a buddy today from about 2 to 5:30 pm. We launched at Loe's and worked to North Island, then back toward Big Mineral. Didn't see much in the way of birds actively working fish, although there were a lot of birds around. We marked a lot of fish in patterns that are normally promising, but could not get them to hit artificials. Tried several colors and sizes of sassy shad and slabs. Got a couple of bumps and that was it. Maybe live bait would have been effective, but we were not equipped to use it today. Maybe the front and north wind put them off their feed, although from jdlyl's post it sounded like he did well in the am.
