Yeah, it takes A LOT LOT LOT LOT LOT of weight to sink a boat. Is this fiberglass or metal?

You'll need lots of help and several boats more than likely. Enough weight to make it sink couldn't be carried out in just one boat. It would sink the carrying boat.

I have sunk several boats over the years as artificial reefs. You will need to make sure that there is nothing that has had oil or gas through it still on the boat. There shouldn't be any closed areas that hold air and you will need an AMAZING amount of steel or concrete to keep it down. Even the oldest boats that are fully dunked will float right back up if not truely overweighted!

Make it a target practice at the lake? It will naturally sink with enough holes and lead in the boat! Hehehehe!

I have a chunk of concrete that would sink the Titanic if ya want it. Bring a back hoe though.

Anybody know the legality of sinking a boat for structure?
I would think it is a lot more complicated than sinking brush or PVC since the boat could possibly have things harmful to the environment in it.
Plus the fact that it takes so much weight to keep one in the spot you left it

You guy's bring up a good point. I found this sunk boat out on LA a while back and I never thought about what the heck was holding it down there. I have caught a few good crappie off of it on several trips though.
