I was looking at lake records when I noticed something peculiar. The lake record for White Rock lake Freshwater Drum is 55 lbs. and the world record is listed at 54 lbs. I would imagine the White Rock record is so old (1920's)and records did not exist or it was never certified. But still, no one would ever guess White Rock lake would harvest a world record. Guess the fish was eating all of that trash in the lake. Image catching that on a dd-22.

The lake had only been full ten years in 1924, so that's a pretty amazing record. Must have been some big holes in White Rock Creek.
