First time back to Whitney in 3 weeks (been fishing for hybrids) and the fishing is excellent. Almost limited by 8:00 with fish to 8 lbs. Found another group of fish thanks to the floatilla and limited easy. Unbelievable action. I know some folks are not going to fish the Tournament tomorrow because you think lake Whitney was hurt. Believe me it is not hurt. All during the alga bloom the fishing was good and now the fish are schooled up in areas and once you locate them look out. Here is a picture of the limit of fish to 8 lbs we kept. I hope we can repeat tomorrow during the event.

im glad to see you catching a few.

we are doing pretty good over at tawakoni.

getting limits, all solid and healthy fish.
averaging 10 lbs , getting a few bigger ones
but mainly 8 to 12 lbs....
big shad and being quiet seems to be the key....

Catching a few? I don't call it a few. Try three days, three limits this week alone. It has been so good on most days all through the algae bloom and now it's even better. Unbelievable action. Most not huge, but good fish to 10 lbs lately. Could have caught many more. Left at 25.
