Anyone have any information on Lake Granbury. Ran into a guy at a local store that said it was good fishing right now.

The Dead Sea, to me. I did not see anything at all last time I was on the lake ( 3weeks ago). I asked the rangers I talked to and the same. Nothing. Folks I have talked to that live on the river and lake, say nothing going. I saw MANY dead fish there this past spring, guys at WalMart sporting goods dept say no one is catching anything, reports from the lake are that it is dead. A guy that worked on my boat said it was good, but couldn't say where, only "where the fresh watrer meets the lake"; a parrot of TP&W's report. TP&W say it's ok to good, but not where. I hardly saw a fish one in the entire trip from river to dam 3 weeks ago, on my sonar or the water itself. My bet is: it's dead. My question is: will TP&W help restock it? hmmmm

That guy you talked to inthe local store, the guys in the white coats has been looking for him .They would appreciate a call from you on which store.
Just came in from trolling hellpets on both side of 377 bridge. NOTHING. The baitfish a becoming more plentiful each week in my trap and usually have one or two LM in it also. Look like they were from the early summer stocking. There has also been in early summer a stocking of stripers. Until after Llabor Day the fishing will be slow because of the jet skis and skiers. I will say this the female skiers this year are better looking than in the recent past years.
Pat cleburne in mid week has been productive for sandies and if you hit Proctor just right you can have a good day .
