Where abouts were they schooling? I have not fished Bardwell in years - used to ski there many years ago when I lived in Red Oak.

Yes, please tell us where. We fished Bardwell during the spring feeding season, and absolutly killed them. We were just talking about how Bardwell was doing just the other day. Might go and give it a try in a week or 2.

Has anyone been back to Bardwell in the last few days???? Did not get to fish this weekend at Bardwell but did fish Thursday morning and did pretty well. Caught lots of nice sandies and even a few 14 or 15 inch hybrids. Caught near dam ....

Does bardwell have a sandbass over 9". I have fished bardwell for years. It sucks. There are no hybrids in Bardwell. Check there stocking report.

We caught a couple of stripers during the spawing season, they were around 13" or so. Threw them all back, but really anxious for them to grow up. First time I fished Bardwell this spring, and it was awesome. We caught over our limit everytime and threw anything under 12" back. It was very fun.
