Today was a little slower than earlier in the week. the fish that were biting were on the same shallow/road runner pattern that i have been fishing for the last couple months but the bite was very slow today. only boated 3 fish. The water temp was 50 degrees and I was very encouraged by that. thought the fish would really come up in the shallows at that temp, but it wasnt to be today. maybe tomorrow will be better heard the bait fisherman on the radio really singing the blues today. not many people catching anything with shad.

Plan on another trip this saturday allthe way up washita. Fish all over graf on ledges
I know this is going to pay off. Caught more fish waiting them out then moving all over lake. Seen a bunch of boats when I went over willis bridge, Very hard not to follow crowds but sounds like I have better luck than most on live bait. That shallow water fishing would be great but dont have know idea where till summer.
Good Luck

Jeff,

Coming up on a full moon on the 18th...hope you guys catch some fish tomorrow. Taking the Junior Varsity with you tomorrow, huh... He's always good company whether the fish are biting or not.

You might see me out there late..
I am picking up my '99, 22 foot Promaster in Mcalester on saturday and might give it a ride on my way home.
Have to put in a fishfinder before I go out...
PS Thinking about a Uniden Solara VHF... but it doesn't scan.. any concerns?
