Fished this morning with Steve Bradbury and his friend Alan Mills. Caught a three-man limit of sand bass in two hours trolling 16-24 feet of water.

Got to meet the Dream Team. They said they had just come off a school of hybrids and had caught 28 in less than 20 minutes, with the largest going 10.5 pounds. With five men in the boat they had to throw three back.

Also good to meet Eric Emeritz out on the water.

Day's two funniest moments:

1) A yellow bass able to strip drag off my line and force the T-top to turn around.

2) I foul-hooked some kind of fish that eventually got off. When I got the lure up there was a scale on it bigger than a guitar pick.

1) Actually, I got hung up, and when we went back over the lure to get it loose I had a yellow bass on the pet spoon.

2) I don't know what that big scale came off of when we were slabbing.

hung up? then the yellow bass? you sure? LOL i know you were!

guitar pick scale was actually a pringle potatoe chip that you were snacking on while we were starving! LOL
