TM konked out on me. I replaced both the male and female plugs up front and hooked them up to a battery and the TM ran. They won't run off of the 2 batteries in the back. Is there a fuse or something I should be looking for? Any ideas?

should have a breaker on the pos. cable, some have a manual reset.

On my boat I have a fuse inline on both pos.side of the TM bat. If one comes loose in the fuse block the TM goes dead. I need to come up with a better way, maybe breakers ???.
