sorry , i have a big trip sat and my wife wants to fish sunday.
but if you go to tawokoni you are never by yourself....and if you go i will help you find your bait and give you a couple of good tips..
thats is if you go to tawokoni...

Jim you interested in venturing north ?? I dont troll, use ballons or H/P rigs  but if ya want to come north I can possibly find us some top water fish and then drown bait or slab after that ??? we would need to be on the water by 6am to hit the top water action. I havent found it hot and heavy yet but others have. i'm due The bait fishing has been great !!

Thanks for the offer Erik but I'll take a rain check. Gonna meet Jeff up at Texocean to try some surface fishing for striper bright and early. He'll probably be the ruination of me...we'll get into some good fish on top and it's back fishing Texoma like I use to many years ago. Axman, I think he wants me to give him some trolling tips ...balloons are too obvious and for someone to see him with them colored dots all around him would never be lived down. I could see MikeC and Mark on his case now and it ain't purty ------------------

could it be that those sandbass sized stripers are not strong enough to pull the line out of the balloon? like the ones that used to be in Whitney could do? JD, I am going to get you out on Whitney and make you fish balloons, but do not worry, I will not give you the pink ones.. Good luck guys, i hope to make it up there again soon. The drive is not as bad as I thought, so I hope to come a little more often.
