Fish surfaced for a little while, but went back down and up again and down. Got lots of dinks, but managed to put 54 good ones in the box today, lots on slabs.

It got windy and we had enough for a fish fry this weekend. Doyle Holman invited me and my father down to fish and my dad had a ball with Doyle. I am used to out fishing my dad, but he took me to school today and talked about it the whole way home. He said it has been about 18 years since he came close to outfishing me, but he would remember today.

Thanks for having us Doyle, my dad enjoyed meeting you and fishing with you.

I'm thinking about fishing RC sometime over the next two weekends. Where on the lake did you fish and what were you using. I know about most of the hotspots and hot baits just looking for some new ideas.

Jerry and Steve, I enjoyed fishing with the both of you today and only wish that the wind would not have been so high. Looking forward to fishing with the both of you again.

It was a pleasure to see Steve's dad have a good time and catch all the big fish.

Pelican Isle and 287 roadbed area, 21 was shallow and we fished in 35 as well. not too many boats out there today.fish on slabs and we got some surfacing there and near hickey island, but they did not stay up long and they were mostly small fish.
