I am going to be doing a full day of LMB fishing on Travis in a Late May. I wouldn't mind catching some whites also, and I don't mind fishing at night. Could someone give me advice on techniques for this time of year, including times of day or night to fish?

Very early look for sandbass surface schooling on flats in 20 to 30 ft depth near deeper water, also around marina's. Trolling a deep diver in a bright color will also catch them. I've been doing well trolling a Norman Middle N in a pearl color in 30 to 35 feet deep water on flats near the deep channel. At night fish the lighted boat docks which are located in deep water and near deeper water. You can use 1/16 oz Roadrunners or small jigs. Hope this helps.

I have had alot of success catching sandies early morning on Travis using jigs, spoons, sassys and Rapalas. The bite is usually best at daylight until around 9 AM. Following the birds around usually works as well.

E-mail-me if interested in night fishing for whites, crappie, LMB's or anything that's bite's on Lake Travis.

Been out-of-town for three weeks just got back tonight, fishing tomorrow night on L.T. Spicewood area on(Private Dock -But Would Prefer Boat Access)

Been on a night schedule out-of-town and have one more week left starting next tuesday night thru Sunday.

Then all fish on Lake Travis !!!BEWARE!!!

BY LAND,DOCK OR BOAT I WILL SEARCH AND DESTROY

Don't really know about summer whites on Travis but, blacks are schooling in Hurst Creek.
