Had A great fishing weekend at Richland. Started Friday evening south of 287 bridge. By the green metal house. Very slow there. So the Captin "Eddie". Suggested that we move futher south. Just a little north of the dam. And sure enough the sandies were rolling the water from about 7:00 - 9:00. Saturday mourning searched the lake and ended up in the same spot. And still great action. So that evening headed straight to that spot and at the light house about a mile out, the sandies were tearing up about a 10 acer spot on the water. I was using a small shad looking rattle trap and the Captin was using a chartruse slab. ABSOLUTELY WORE THEM OUT. So. Did anyone else have any luck on other spots.

went to R.C this morning..pretty rough on the north end of the dam. Ended up fishing by the lighthouse...good topwater action but the size of the fish were horrible. Probably caught about 25-30 sandies and I would say about 90% of those were dinks. was catching them on a white and grey rooster tail. Didnt stay long enough to do any slabbin'.

Our mouring fishing mostly produced smaller sandies. But than evening had much larger fish in almost the same spot.
