Seen one at the Dallas boat show great looking boat and it had a 250 Yami SHO 4 stroke but for 63,000 bucks I would wait for the price to come down.

I have been looking at buying a new skeeter, but not sure what the big difference is between the models (fx, iclass, zx). I've been looking at the I class but want to know what's the major difference between it and the ZX series.
Looking at either the 20i or the ZX225.
Thoughts?

Let's see how much I remember from sellin' em.

The FX is the new flagship boat, designed for the SHO 4-stroke that's just been released. With the FX coming out, they took a little stuff off the I-class. Mainly the DMS system which is the locking system with the PIN number to lock your compartments. On the 2010 i-class boats that feature is gone.

They've dropped the SX line. The ZX line is now the entry level boat. They've gone back to the rocker type of switches on the dash of the ZX and changed the seats so they're not as plush as last years. The dash won't hold as big of a graph as the i-class and FX boats will but you always have the option of using a swivel mount and mounting it external of the dash.

Due to about a 140 lb heavier hull and a few hull design differences, the 20 foot iclass boat will have a noticeably better ride than the ZX 225. Also the 20i has a 250 rating where the ZX225 is rated for a 225.

CAnt speak about the FX, but I just sold a 2004 ZX 225 on here last week, and it was a great boat, fast and smooth, a little rough in rough water, but with the sleek profile the ZX has its top of the line,

With that being said, I just came home with a practically brand new 21 I Class 2008 model, and the ride on it is unbelievable, absolutely amazing, I will in no way knock a ZX, I love them, but that 21' I class ride is something to witness.

Guess I need to change my screen name now.
