I'll vouch for the Tarleton guys, got to hang out with a couple of ya'll up in Arkansas, class act guys. Look forward to fishing with ya'll again. Will ya'll be at the west super regional on Tyler?

We have about 20 active members. We typically have around 6-9 boats at each club tournament. Regarding the 19th in the nation, i think that is flw's poll. That is not all correct in my opinion. We finished high in all the national championships this year. There are lots of good fishing schools in Texas, but i will promise you that you will have a good time at Tarleton.

Hey Jake, I think we will send at least a few teams. We have a club tournament scheduled that day, if we can get that moved we will be there. Looking forward to it. Lake Tyler in April is going to be fun.

That sounds awesome! We are actually using the tournament as one of our inner club tournaments for points as well. Maybe ya'll can work that out? Just throwin around ideas instead of having to find another weekend to fish a lake.

the national rankings are extremley hard to keep track of.....They have a top tier fishing program in the Texas region though that is for sure... Always a friendly rivaly between us at UNT, Tarleton, A&M, SFA, and plenty of other Texas schools that have some serious fishing talent on their squads. I promise you those boys can catchem over at Tarleton, and be prepared to put your time in, on the lake, and the classroom both, if you want to be able to hang with them.. It is a fun sport, and I wouldn't trade it for the world, but balancing full time school, with second to none preparation is very difficult. Best of Luck to you, and if those Tarleton bozos scare you off, come check us out...Only kidding, those are a good group of guys, and consider many of them friends!

I wish we could do that. We have tried to do things like that in the past and lots of our members dont like doing that for some reason. I hope to see you there and i also am trying to make it out to yalls tournamnet on hubbard.

Thanks for all the kind words guys. If y'all alumni want to have an alumni tourney I bet the bass club would do the weigh in. See if y'all can round up a decent amount of intrest and we might just do put one together

bucketmouth777 we are throwing around ideas of hosting a tournament co affliated with my nursing program (They recently came to me with this idea) on brownwood lake tentative date is sometime in the begining of april so its up for options and change it will be an open tourney but i will let the forum know as soon as I work out all the kinks and details

I'd probably still be in school if they would have had a fishing team back then! An alumni event would be a cool idea and I bet would bring in quite a few people with enough notice given so everybody could make plans.
