Anybody have any on the lake experience with this model yet? Still going back and forth between this and an hds-7 with the lss-1. Just curious as to how the 898 performs? thanks

The 898c is getting close to being released they had to wait for the current software to become available before they could start production. Should be in stores very soon.

I noticed it is in the BPS catalog....hope it turns out to be a good one...I would really like to have an SI unit...

oh, I didnt realize it wasnt being shipped out yet, it looked like it was available on multiple websites. I think Im going to wait and check it out in person and try to compare it to the hds-7!
