This looks like a fun paddle. I have done that paddle several times. I have a tournament that weekend or I would be in for sure.

Won't be able to make it that weekend because we have a striper trip planned for Texoma, but this look like a great paddle. I did find it odd in the description that most species are listed EXCEPT for black bass. Is this accurate?

Give a man a fish and he will eat for a day. Teach him how to fish, and he will sit in a boat and drink beer all day.

I've made a couple of trips with the Dallas Down River Club and have been on the safety team for their Trinity River Challenge for 3 of the last 4 years. They're a great bunch. They are very experienced, well organized and friendly. They also eat very well on their trips. Just go to the website and e-mail them that you want to go and they'll give you all the details.
