In spite of the dreaded golden algae....the crappie bite is awesome at Whitney!!! I limited out today and plan on heading back to get a limit tomorrow. These are slabs...13+" all on jigs along rocky shores. If you can stand the smell, they are there. The males are off the bank a small bit but the females are right on the bank! Yes...I am bank fishing.
later...I have some work to do.

Thanks for the info Fishincoach. Could you possibly enlighten me as to some of the general areas you were catching these fish on Whitney? Any help is greatly appreciated...

Harbor Masters area around the rocky shores. Red and White jigs.
I talked to a guy who said he has caught over 200 there this year.
