Bud Light Trail (BLT) Individual Championship qualifiers be advised the BLT Individual Championship set for January 10th may be rescheduled for January 17th due to the forecasted weather conditions for the Lake Palestine event. The BLT Tournament Director and staff will make the decision on Friday January 8th at 8am. The BLT staff will then update the BLT website (www.budlighttrail.com), BLT information line (830-483-9258), and this TFF thread with the decision. The safety and well being of BLT participants will be the BLT staff�s number one priority in our decision. Thank you for your patience on this matter.

If the tournament is a go, is there a place to register Friday evening, or will you just be at Kilo Land on Saturday?

The tournament is currently scheduled for Jan 10th on Sunday. If it is not postponed to next Sunday on the 17th, the Tournament Director (TD)and some BLT staff members will be at Kilo Land on Sunday morning by 5am to take late registrations. This should give the anglers plenty of time to trailer to a more convenient launch site before the 7am start time.

If it is postponed, any angler that did not mail their entry form early this week may do so before Monday of next week without having to pay the $10 late registration fee. The TD will be there on Sunday the 17th by 5am to accept late registrations.

Due to the multiple days of sub freezing temperature leading up to and the forecasted sub freezing temperatures for Sunday morning, January 10th the Bud Light Trail (BLT) Individual Championship on Lake Palestine will be postponed for the safety of all those involved. The tournament is now rescheduled for Sunday, January 17th. BLT staff members regret the inconvenience this may cause to some, safety is our number one priority with this decision.
