Have ya'll noticed the crappie being not a deep here lately? Been catching a lot more in water around 15 feet lately. Shallower bush piles on points and even on coves where they weren't in August. The other day I tried an old pile in a cove in ten feet of water that hadn't had a crappie on it since May and it was loaded with small crappie. Even on bridges they seem to be moving up the posts. Does that mean the shad are moving up to those levels? Is that a general trend around the state, in NE Texas or just my home lake? I tend to relate all my fishing to shad.
